Pro Cleaning Woking

Privacy policy

Last updated: 30 October 2026.

This privacy policy explains how Pro Cleaning Woking uses and protects the personal information you give us when you use this website, in particular when you send us a message, ask for a quote or apply for work through one of our forms.

Who we are

Pro Cleaning Woking is a trading name of PROCARSWOKING LIMITED (registered in England and Wales, company number 10715306, registered office 4 Monument Road, Flat 1, Humberstone Court, Woking, England, GU21 5LX). PROCARSWOKING LIMITED is the data controller: it is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. If you have a question about it, or want to use any of your rights, email us at office@procleaningwoking.com, call us on 01483 773531 or write to us at our registered office.

What we collect

When you send one of our forms, we receive the details you enter:

  • Contact form: your name, your phone number or email address (or both) and your message.
  • Quote form: the service you are interested in, your postcode, the type of property and number of bedrooms, how often you would like the cleaning, when you would like it to start, anything else you tell us, your name, your phone number and, if you give it, your email address.
  • Job application form: your name, phone number, email address and home postcode, whether you have the right to work in the UK, whether you have your own transport, when you are available and any experience you tell us about. The form does not ask for a CV.

You do not have to use our forms: you can phone us instead, or message us on WhatsApp. A WhatsApp message reaches us through WhatsApp, run by Meta, which handles it under its own terms and privacy policy; we keep the conversation as we keep any other enquiry. If you do use one, we need the fields marked as required to reply to you.

When you visit this website, our host Netlify receives your IP address and the pages you ask for, as any web host does. When you open a page with one of our forms, Cloudflare’s spam check also receives your IP address and technical information about your browser and device (see “Who else handles your information” and “Cookies” below).

How we use it

We use the details you send only to:

  • answer your message or enquiry;
  • prepare your quote and arrange the cleaning you ask for;
  • consider your application to work with us and contact you about it;
  • protect our forms from spam and misuse.

We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not send promotional emails. We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone. Our spam check may stop a form being sent; if that happens, please phone us.

UK data protection law says we need a lawful reason to use your details. Ours are:

  • Legitimate interests: answering the people who contact us, considering the people who apply to work with us and keeping our forms free of spam.
  • Taking steps at your request: when you ask for a quote or a booking, we use your details to prepare the quote and arrange the clean before any agreement is made, and then to carry out the agreement.
  • Legal obligation: once you are a customer, the law requires us to keep records for tax and accounting (see “How long we keep it”).

Where your details go

Your form is sent by email to our office inbox, office@procleaningwoking.com. The website itself does not store what you send: the office inbox is our record of it. The companies below may keep their own copies or logs for a limited time, as explained in “How long we keep it”.

Who else handles your information

We use these companies to run the website and the forms. They handle your information on our behalf, only to provide their service:

  • Netlify hosts this website and runs the code that receives the forms. It receives your IP address when you visit, and uses it to limit repeated form sends.
  • Resend sends each form to our office inbox as an email.
  • Cloudflare runs Turnstile, the spam check on our forms. When you open a page with a form, it receives your IP address and technical information about your browser and device to tell real visitors from automated software. Cloudflare explains what Turnstile does with this information in its Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
  • Our email provider holds the office inbox where your form arrives.

Netlify, Resend and Cloudflare are based in the United States, so your information is transferred outside the UK and may be handled in the United States or in other countries where they operate. Each of them says in its public data processing terms that, for transfers from the UK, it relies on the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (often called the UK-US data bridge) and on standard contractual clauses together with the UK addendum issued by the Information Commissioner’s Office. You can read their terms for Netlify, Resend and Cloudflare. You can ask us for more information about these safeguards at any time.

We do not sell your personal information, and we share it only with the companies above or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and quote requests that do not lead to a booking: deleted within 12 months.
  • Customer records: if you become a customer, the details you gave us when you booked and our records of the jobs we do for you and what you pay become our customer records. We keep them for 6 years after your last job, because we need them for tax and accounting and for HMRC’s record keeping rules.
  • Job applications: deleted within 6 months after you apply, unless we offer you work.

The website does not store your form, so nobody has to delete anything from it. We delete these details ourselves, from our email inbox, when the period ends.

Resend keeps a copy of each email it sends, Netlify keeps a count of recent form sends from each IP address to limit repeats, and Netlify and Cloudflare keep technical logs, each for a limited time under their own terms.

Cookies

We do not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, and this website does not use analytics.

The Turnstile spam check on our form pages is provided by Cloudflare. To work, it may store information in your browser, such as cookies, to run that security check. Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum, linked above, explains more.

You can choose to decline or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Security

The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The forms check what is sent before passing it on, and the website itself does not keep a copy of your form.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us:

  • for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • to delete your information;
  • to stop or limit how we use it, or object to our using it;
  • in some cases, to give you your information in a format you can reuse.

To make a request, email office@procleaningwoking.com or call 01483 773531. There is normally no charge. We will reply without undue delay and within one month; if a request is complex, the law lets us take up to two months more, and we will tell you why. If any information we hold about you is incorrect or incomplete, tell us as soon as possible and we will promptly correct it.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection. You can find out how on its website, ico.org.uk.

Our website may contain links to other websites. Once you follow one of those links and leave our site, we have no control over the other website, so we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information you provide while visiting it, and this policy does not apply there. Please read the privacy policy of the website in question.

Changes to this policy
